Kristen Runke O.D.
A resident of Great Falls since 1998, Dr. Runke is the owner of Great Falls Eyecare. Providing comprehensive family eye care in her community is both her profession and her passion. Since opening the office in 1991, Dr. Runke has seen many of her clients grow up and experience life's milestones right in front of her own eyes. She is raising two daughters with her husband, Dr. Daraius Unwalla and does volunteer work on a local, national and international level in the Great Falls Rotary Club.

Dr. Runke received dual Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Biology and in Psychology from the University of Virginia and received her Doctorate of Optometry Degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She is an active member of the Virginia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Lisa Anderson O.D.
Dr. Anderson has been an optometrist with Great Falls Eyecare since 2000 when she returned from a year abroad. Originally from Wisconsin she enjoys visits back to her favorite lake and loves visiting family in Alaska where they spend hours outdoors especially fishing.

Her education includes a General Biology major with Senior Honorable Mention from University of Wisconsin, both a Bachelor's degree in Visual Science and a Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry, and a Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Faculty appointment as Assistant in Ophthalmology with a concurrent Postdoctoral Fellowship appointment. She chose to become an optometrist because she strongly believes that eye care is a field where she can really make a positive impact on someone''s life.
